As a Level II Trauma Center Emergency Department, including Behavioral Health providing psychiatric evaluations in the unit, we average 42,000 visits per year. This position reports directly to the CNO and has one Nurse Manager and 82 FTEs.

As an RN Director in the ED & Behavioral Health you need to know how to:
Oversee day-to-day operations as you provide continuous leadership and direction for the delivery of patient care within the ED.
Manage clinical operations and provide supervision within a multi-disciplinary team with measurable improvements in clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, patient throughput, associate engagement and quality metrics.
Collaborate with Director of Trauma and Trauma Team to strengthen and enhance the program.
Work closely with the Medical Director, physicians and site leadership team oversee excellent patient care.

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
Current license to practice nursing in the state of Colorado
Current BCLS certification
Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Masters Degree or at least two (2) years of equivalent experience
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in management or supervision of health care personnel required with demonstrated competency in achieving outcomes through people relationships
