Scion Staffing (www.scionnonprofitstaffing.com) has been retained to conduct an immediate search for a contract Lean Specialist for our amazing nonprofit client, located in Vancouver, WA. What You’ll Be Doing:
-Work across departments to implement lean practices for process improvement.  

-Coach project team leaders to eliminate waste and add value efficiencies.

-Collaborate and assist process owners of value stream kaizen activities to ensure organizational goals are accomplished.

-Coordinate and facilitate system aligned lean education and curriculum.

-Track leader’s progress and achievement of lean leader certification.
-Provide leadership and make decisions to maintain project scope, quality, cost, contract and schedule.

- Coordinate the information and tracking of standard work and learnings from kaizen activities and workshops to help guide the organization.

-Provide support and coaching for leaders in their day to day management and assist with problem solving.

-Ensure organizational lean activities integrate seamlessly with Quality and other departments for consistent improvement.
-Create a supportive environment that fosters and supports teamwork and collaboration.

 

What You Have to Offer:

-Certifications in lean transformation training is preferred.

-Lean Black Green Certification is preferred

-Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is preferred

-Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Nursing or related clinical area
-5+ years of professional experience in applying lean improvement principles

-2+ years of training/education in lean improvement

-Lean experience in healthcare industry experience strongly preferred
-Experience at a large organization a plus!
-The selected employee will undergo a background check and drug screen process.

 

Compensation:
This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $35-45/hr DOE, plus an excellent work environment as well as the ability to make a direct impact in the local community!
