We are currently recruiting for a Senior Process and Project Manager to join our team in Farmington Hills, MI.


Facilitate successful execution of Amerisure’s large-scale strategic and operational initiatives through the delivery of proactive business process and project management services.  Forms strong relationships with customers, based on a thorough understanding of their business needs.  Monitors and manages both agile and waterfall project health and process performance by providing leadership, facilitation, communication and customer relationship management expertise.


  • Manage all aspects of multiple large-scale projects throughout BPMO’s Project Management Lifecycle Methodology and/or appropriate Agile Framework.

  • Serve within different roles of delivering highly complex solutions using a variety of agile frameworks within a cross-functional, collaborative environment.

  • Monitor, track and report project performance to management and stakeholders.

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with business customers and stakeholders, thoroughly understanding their business needs, expectations and objectives.

  • Interact and communicate effectively at all organizational levels to manage project lifecycle.

  • Collaborate with BPMO Manager and Team to continuously improve and mature Amerisure’s project management (PMBOK and Agile) capabilities.

  • Provides leading process and project management services to the Company to ensure projects are delivered on-time and on-budget, and meet or exceed the expectations of the stakeholders.

  • Provides functional and technical expertise to analyze, develop and modify business processes to address strategic and operational goals.

  • Selects and utilizes various process improvement techniques best suited to accomplish project goals and facilitate the collaborative identification of process opportunities. 

  • Identifies process disconnects and translates them into improvement opportunities with cost savings or avoidance, productivity improvements, or revenue generating business benefits.

  • Provides process consultation on how to identify and solve process challenges and utilize performance metrics to monitor the success of process change.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.

  • 7 years large-scale process and project management experience including both technology systems and business projects or programs with responsibility for, and successful delivery of highly complex enterprise change initiatives.

  • 5 years large-scale agile deployment experience including both technology systems and business projects or programs with responsibility for, and successful delivery of highly complex enterprise change initiatives

  • Agile Certification(s) (e.g., Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Product Owner (CPO), Certified Agile Leader (CAL), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), etc.) or similar certification preferred.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)® or similar certification.

  • Insurance or financial services industry experience preferred.

  • Lean Six Sigma training, certification, or application of tools.

  • Proficient computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Intermediate proficiency with project management software.

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects from conceptual phase through implementation and testing.

  • Demonstrated successful ability to build positive relationships and partnerships within department, across the organization and with external customers.

  • Demonstrated successful ability to organize and prioritize work to ensure timely deadlines.

  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and decision making skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers.

  • Demonstrated leadership, facilitation, influencing, relationship and negotiation skills.

  • Strong issue identification and conflict resolution skills.

  • Ability to travel up to 5%.
