Job Description:

Cherokee Nation Entertainment (CNE) is the retail, gaming, entertainment, hospitality and cultural tourism entity of the Cherokee Nation. CNE operates ten casinos in Claremore, Fort Gibson, Ramona, Roland, Sallisaw, Tahlequah, Tulsa, West Siloam Springs, South Coffeyville, and Grove as well as two Cherokee Travel Plaza and convenience store, numerous restaurants and entertainment venues, six retail smoke shops, nine gift shops, two golf courses, two tourism welcome centers, four museums, three hotels, two horse racing tracks and KOA RV campground.

Summary:

Execution of machine moves, game conversions, installations, maintenance, floor upgrades and repairs of E-Games machines. (Formerly known as IT Technician)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following (Other duties may be assigned):


  • Demonstrate computer literacy.
  • Work closely with vendors and assist them in machine repairs.
  • Perform machine repairs under the supervision of a higher level technician.
  • Maintain a positive image of CNE.
  • Focus on guest service.
  • Demonstrate troubleshooting techniques and escalate problem if needed.
  • Able to work in a team oriented environment.
  • Assist in machine installs or changes
  • Expected to execute machine moves, game conversions, installations and floor upgrades.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on machines.
  • Maintain accurate parts inventory.
  • Respond in a timely fashion to technician calls on floor.
  • Take initiative to ask for and offer help to guests and co-workers.
  • Adhere to all regulatory, departmental and company policies.
  • Assist in the repairs ticket redemption kiosks and ATMs with the supervision of a higher level technician
  • Ensures work is performed in a safe manner
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Requires a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 year of previous E-Games experience or 1 year of previous experience in a technical field such as IT, electrical, or equivalent. Completion of IGT Courses: MT321, MT412, MT413, MT103.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Able to obtain and keep gaming and driver's licenses with a clean record.
  • Able to pass background check, pre-employment and random drug tests.
  • Work well under pressure.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 75lbs.
  • Must be able to obtain a CNGC gaming license.
  • Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.

Exposure to smoke and loud noises should be expected.
