Serve as a key partner to SVP Finance, Operations, and Administration. Hands-on contributor to financial management activities for the Growth & Innovation Division, including budgeting and operations planning, performance monitoring, and variance analysis. In collaboration with FP&A team, prepare annual budget and in-year reforecasts for Growth & Innovation division, including staff plans, revenue forecasts, and operating expenses. Assist in development and implementation of compensation and incentive plans to support recruitment and retention of key staff and achievement of business unit and corporate goals. Conduct ad-hoc analyses of diverse financial, operational, and strategic matters and communicate conclusions and recommendations to business partners. Assist in development of strategies, goals, and metrics to achieve financial and operational goals. Serve as liaison to corporate services areas, including accounting, human resources, talent management, legal, insurance, benefits, and other specialized functions. Facilitate business unit's implementation of corporate initiatives and execute special tasks as required.
Minimum Experience Required
Bachelor's degree required, with concentration in Finance, Accounting or Business preferred; Master in Business Administration strongly preferred, with concentration in finance or accounting preferred; or other graduate degree in business related field (accounting, finance, business).
6-8 years of progressive experience in related role (minimum of 2-3 years of advanced financial analysis)
Demonstrated ability to prepare, analyze, and comprehend budgets, revenue forecasts, staff plans, financial statements, proformae, financial projections, adhoc financial models, reports and analyses.
Demonstrated ability to identify, communicate, and reinforce key financial and operational metrics.
Demonstrated ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions in order to make recommendations
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate financial, administrative, legal, and operational information to broad range of internal and external constituencies. Team player.
Experience with Human Resources matters a plus, including recruiting, compensation, and merit-based incentives.
Experience reviewing and negotiating legal contracts.
Experience with sales and business development activities, including the preparation of revenue forecasts, quotas, and commission plans.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint); expert level proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Experience with finance, HR, sales, and administrative computer systems, including budgeting, general ledger, payables, expense reporting, time reporting, recruiting, sales automation (Salesforce a plus).
