Job Description:

The role will be responsible for soliciting sales into and managing the UGG East Coast Pureplay Online accounts. The role will be responsible for the long term development of the accounts, profitable growth for the brand as well as building strong relationships with account executives and buyers. Extensive travel and occasional overnight stays are expected.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Summary


  • Builds strong relationships with senior business partners (across buying, sales, merchandising, logistics & marketing) to successfully manage designated account partners.

  • Achieves and exceeds sales and profitability targets for the accounts.

  • Maximizes, maintains and defends the profitability targets of the brand across all accounts.

  • Plans and facilitates new seasons range sell-in to existing and potential business.

  • Attends regular sales meetings, prepares sales reports, sell through information and other necessary information on the accounts plus other information as requested by the business, supporting the Sales Director where requested in formatting and delivering the sales meetings.

  • Visits and builds relationships with buying teams and cross functional partners.

Sales


  • Plans and budgets each account vs. LY and target goal for the current sales period.

  • Strategically plans and arranges all customer appointments.

  • In line with each customer’s budget, successfully carries out solicitation of sales.

  • Follows up on accounts to coordinate management of order process end to end: sell in and sell through.

  • Acts as a liaison to ensure all orders and administration is submitted within deadlines.

  • Strategically plans then carries out the sales strategy; by in person or remotely via technology.

  • Provides monthly sales forecast updates to managers as required.

  • Performs such other activities as may be assigned by Sales Director and with oversight from Sales Director.

  • Must be able to lead and manage a high profile global retailer.

Account Management


  • Builds strong professional relationships with all buyers for each account.

  • Strategically contacts and manages customers daily, weekly or bi-monthly.

  • Plans the strategic and profitable use of marketing tools.

  • Visits all accounts on a regular basis set by supervisor.

  • Acts as the first point of call for accounts for the UGG brand.

  • Maintains regular daily or weekly contact with Sales Director regarding sales updates, sell through reporting, issues and opportunities.

  • Performs such other activities as may be assigned by Sales Director and with oversight from Sales Director.

Profitability


  • Maintains profitability by coordinating between the corporate headquarters and customers to minimize returns and credits and other costs to the business.

  • Uses marketing astutely and with due consideration to return on investment.

  • Acts as a liaison between corporate headquarters and customers to insure payments are prompt and to the benefit of the Brand.

  • Manages expenses against budget.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
Education/Experience:


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent level of experience

  • Previous wholesale experience
