Responsibilities include:



  • Develop understanding about the firm, its history, philosophy, products, people and processes




  • Work directly with QMA’s institutional investors: develop long term relationships and strive to anticipate clients’ needs and understand their investment objectives




  • Act as primary client contact for new account onboarding; work closely with the onboarding team to ensure a smooth and timely funding process




  • Collaborate with sales and consultant relations frequently to ensure seamless team integration and client coverage




  • Prepare for and host client portfolio reviews and/or board presentations with portfolio management, both in the office and periodically on the road (some travel required)




  • Research issues and questions that arise in conjunction with the client and its investments




  • Cross-sell other QMA products in conjunction with sales team




  • Collaborate with the various QMA constituencies (including portfolio management, legal, compliance, operations etc) on relevant client inquiries and deliverables, often researching issues and providing suggestions on resolution




  • Help maintain the Salesforce CRM with call reports and other client information




  • Assist on various projects for the team





  • 7+ years experience working in the asset management business




  • Proven experience working with institutional investors in a client-facing role; ability to troubleshoot and resolve investor issues in a timely manner




  • Knowledge of global equity products, intellectual curiosity to learn more and further develop product and firm knowledge




  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills




  • Strong organizational skills; proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple deliverables and responsibilities




  • Responsible and mature team player with collaborative instinct, attention to detail and sense of urgency




  • Motivated self-starter with critical thinking skills




  • MBA and/or CFA a plus
