Summary: 

Responsible for timely and accurate processing of Accounts Receivable billings to tenants and application of cash receipts for all International companies. Provides proactive support to management on issue resolutions and entering/posting of cash receipts processed by team members.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Applies cash receipts upon receipt and ensures timely and accurate entry and processing.



  • Responsible for all billing (i.e. tenant rent, utilities, additional fees, back billing) via the International billing application, inclusive of any pre-bill requirements and working with the local offices on discrepancies.



  • Reviews and reconciles batches in Great Plains (GP) for accuracy.



  • Collaborates with local offices regarding invoice files for local printers and reconciliations to GP invoices



  • Ensures compliance with all specific tax requirements for each country.



  • Enters manual adjustments as necessary.



  • Collaborates with local offices and customers on collections and reconciling unapplied cash, inclusive of gaining proper remittance advices.



  • If required, upload A/R invoices on customer website(s).



  • Other projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:



  • High School Diploma/GED required. Associates degree+ preferred.



  • 5+ years A/R experience, with 2+ years’ experience with international markets.



  • Demonstrated knowledge and intermediate proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite software including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook.



  • Great Plains knowledge a plus. Other ERP system experience considered.



Language Skills:



  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish required. Portuguese is a plus.



  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and memos.



  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret contracts/legal documents.



  • Interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.



Mathematical Skills:



  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, profit margins, area and volume.



  • Ability to utilize mathematical formulas: to add, subtract, multiply and divide and to calculate decimals and percentages.


 

Reasoning Ability:



  • Ability to carry out instruction furnished in written, oral or diagram form.



  • Ability to define and prioritize problems, collect and organize data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions and projections.



  • Ability to think critically, utilizing a logical, systematic, sequential approach.
