The Technology Architect, Government Solutions, works cross-functionally with business development, product development and software engineering to define and design new and current solutions serving the Government sector. This is a hands-on role, meant to include all lines of business and integrated technologies.
Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Clear understanding of, and documentation created as needed to describe existing “as-is” and desired “to-be” technical environments.
Responsible for developing and executing against solution strategies and business plans that support business Select, manage and implement component inter-dependencies of solution development, including, vendor partnerships, software tools, risk assessment and cost-effectiveness of contrasting solutions.
Advise team members of industry best practices and technical architecture knowledge within government standards.
Involvement with all stages of project life-cycle where technical environment is involved.
Active participation with clients, industry and RFI and RFP team to build out new solutions.
Deliver the technical content for client/prospect RFP solutions.
Ability to negotiate approach/scope of projects and vendor contracts.
Coordinates tasks and objectives with internal and external resources.
Provide recommendations to modify processes to improve quality and productivity.
Communicate effectively between external and internal stakeholders including technical and non-technical resources.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration.
5-7 years of work experience in multiple technology disciplines.
Experience working with Agile and Lean Manufacturing methodology.
Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) / SNAP experience, payment/card service experience and/or working with Government State & Local agencies
Experience leading integration of complex disparate systems involving different organizations / technologies.
Experience working with enterprise architecture teams to develop solutions to business problems.
Experience working with high volume low latency transaction networks.
Experience with technical leadership and project management.
Excellent analytical and problem solving capabilities.
Excellent pre-sales technical skills.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
In-depth knowledge of complex technical environments.
Confident and inclusive team-player comfortable with taking responsibility and working closely with teams for solution adoption.

Experience in Business Requirements Engineering, Enterprise Solution Architectures, Design and Development of complex systems, Deployment and Sustainment
Experience with Cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google).
Expertise in subject areas include healthcare IT, Human Services Solution, Medicaid, Pharmacy Management Systems and Healthcare Management Systems, and/or POS, Mobile Payments.
Experience with large mission critical systems and system modernization projects
