Koch is looking for an Internal Communications Specialist to join the Communications & Marketing team. Working closely with the internal communications director, this position will help develop and distribute creative content that informs and engages employees throughout Koch Industries. This this is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, entrepreneurial team and play an important role supporting the company’s vision and culture.


A Day In The Life Typically Includes:


  • Distribute and socialize internal content via email, intranet, digital signage, and other communication channels

  • Establish and maintain relationships with the various businesses and act as internal beat reporter for the company, including writing and editing articles for the company intranet.

  • Serve as the relationship manager for specific internal clients and manage and execute their internal marketing and communication projects, including gathering business requirements, providing guidance and feedback as appropriate, and working with Koch Creative team, as well as tracking deliverables, managing internal billing, monthly reporting, scheduling, etc.

  • Assist with development and deployment of new communication tools, etc.

  • A successful candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Strong writing skills, including the ability to write in various formats and styles

  • Strong customer relationship skills

  • The ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects for multiple clients simultaneously

  • Quick learner who can work independently toward defined goals

  • Ability to represent and advance the larger internal communications strategy when working with clients

  • Ability to adapt to a constantly evolving environment, align multiple stakeholders and deliver projects on deadline

What You Will Need (Basic Qualifications):


  • Experience with content management systems (preferably Microsoft SharePoint) and online email platforms

  • Expertise in MS Office

  • Bachelor’s Degree


What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Qualifications):


  • 1+ year of experience working in an internal communications role in a corporate setting

  • Previous professional writing experience

  • Previous project management experience

  • Previous client relationship manager experience

  • Proficiency with Photoshop
