Recruiting Coordinator responsibilities include using in house and external recruiting sources to identify potential candidates, sending recruiting emails, qualify candidates, and disposition candidates for recruiter follow up. To be successful in this role, you must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple job orders.
This position will be key to creating a strong talent pipeline for our company’s immediate and future staffing needs. The position's key responsibilities include:
Posts jobs through internal and external media, utilizing advanced sourcing techniques to identify qualified passive and active candidates. Maintains current knowledge of emerging technology to stay abreast of innovative sourcing trends, social media outlets (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter) and best talent acquisition channels.
Maintains social media pages (Linked, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) to engage active/passive talent pipeline.
Reviews online resumes to pre-screen candidates.
Engages in preliminary phone qualification and document credentials to ensure candidate meets qualifications.
Performs the on-boarding processes for specific positions, updating and sending the contingent offer letter, setting up the background check and drug screen (if applicable), enrollment into the required systems, and other associated tasks.
Serves as coordinator to hiring managers in determining how the on-boarding processes are working and recommend changes to ensure efficiency.
Ensures all new hires are scheduled for New Hire Orientation.
Develops and leverages various technologies, databases, and websites to identify passive and active candidates.
Strategizes, drives and improves our new hire pre-boarding processes and technologies as well as troubleshoot existing roadblocks.
Collaborates with recruiters on qualification requirements for each position.
Actively participates in talent acquisition and other appropriate groups/organizations.
Reviews and audits job postings to ensure effectiveness; make recommendations and revisions following consultation with the appropriate Recruiter Partner, Manager and/or Director.
Maintains updated candidate status/disposition in the applicant tracking system to ensure compliance with company policies as well as federal and state employment laws.
Attends job fairs, college recruitment events, primary and secondary educational outreach programs, etc. as needed.
Sends recruiting emails and follows up with candidates.
Contacts past applicants for new job opportunities.
Develops a network of potential candidates and industry professionals.
Collects all appropriate documents from candidates to ensure proper compliance upon start.
Participates in strategy sessions, from which you create unique and dynamic methods to research, build, and maintain talent pipelines.
Tracks, documents and collaborates on sourcing methodology and progresses with the recruiting team and internal stakeholders.
Makes recommendations on search parameters, target companies, and operational tactics via real-time observations and data points.
Attends recruiting community events, as appropriate.
