Reliability Manager (Spare Parts) - Consumer Products Group (CPG) 

Green Bay, WI or Atlanta, GA


A Day In The Life Typically Includes:


Georgia Pacific's Consumer Products Group (CPG) is seeking a qualified professional for the CPG Reliability Manager - Spare Parts.  The role will provide operations leadership for optimizing the spare parts strategy as part of the asset (reliability) strategy for CPG operations assets.  The role will be accountable for partnering with the purchasing organization to develop principles and strategies resulting in improved availability of correct parts while optimizing the overall inventory on hand or available.  This will be the manufacturing lead in the transformation of CPG inventory and storerooms.  Must be able to demonstrate the ability to lead through influence and coaching the organization while applying critical and economic thinking. 


  • Develop, refine, and implement the overall vision and strategy of MRO inventory for the consumer products manufacturing division

  • Lead, coach, and mentor direct reports to provide a capability to the organization the builds confidence and trust while delivering business objectives

  • Positively influence and coach members of the organization at all levels on principles and new strategies to sustainably capture organizational objectives

  • Facilitate further development of reporting, analytics, and capabilities to improve inventory management moving from reactive to proactive

  • Partner with Finance, Procurement, and Production Planning capabilities to identify and close gaps where the spare parts strategy does not align with the business and financial objectives

  • Partner with all levels of the organization to help improve organizational economic and critical thinking skills relative to inventory.


What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proven experience leading significant change in a large organization, leading all levels of the organization through influence

  • Proven experience with the application of reliability principles and strategies or supply chain planning experience

  • Proven experience performing data analysis in manufacturing to identify and solve for improvement opportunities

  • Proven experience with maintenance management systems or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

  • 4 or more years working in a manufacturing environment


What Will Put You Ahead?

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4 or more years of consumer products manufacturing experience

  • Proven experience developing, improving, and managing asset strategies for equipment

  • SAP S4 or base SAP experience

  • Proved experience managing / leading management of MRO inventory for manufacturing
