J oin us and make your impact on the future as our next Senior Technical Product Manager Technical Product Manager - Application Delivery Controller (ADC)

We are looking for a hands-on candidate to contribute & grow the ADC product-line at A10 Networks. You have experience either in designing, developing, deploying, or operations of Application Delivery services with large Service Providers, Web 2.0's or Enterprises. You will be a technical evangelist, promoting your product to A10 customers, channel & sales, marketing as well as working with engineering team to define and deliver product roadmap. You have a good understanding of networking and security concepts, Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Container Ecosystem. The ideal candidate has in-depth experience with either one or more of ADC, Secure Web Gateway (SWG), Web Application Firewall (WAF).

A day in the life:

  • Engage with field personnel and understand customer requirements and feed to engineering via PRD's

  • Work with engineering (Dev/QA) and product marketing to create technical solutions and enable field engineers

  • Develop technical collateral (solution brief, solution guides, videos, presentations) for consumption of A10 customers and field engineers.

  • Participate in Customer meetings and present A10 solutions to customers

What do I need to land this role?

  • Minimum Bachelor of Engineering/Computer Science with 5 years of experience with Networking and Security Technologies

  • Prior experience in technical role, including engineering, TAC and Escalation or technical marketing.

  • In depth technical knowledge of Networking, Network Security, Web-security

  • Domain expertise in IP networking, in particular data center networking, application delivery controllers (ADC), Firewalls and other security technologies

  • Hands on experience in setting up lab or production networks

  • Ability to simplify complex tasks and translate simplification ideas into complex products

Other desired skills:

Ability to work in a cross functional environment with geographically dispersed team members

  • Ability to thrive in an environment requiring significant multitasking/content switching

  • Strong communication skills (oral and written) and technical writing skills (English)

  • Ability to work under limited supervision in defining initial goals and addressing complex issues

  • Excellent understanding of the industry landscape (competitors and partners)

  • Highly proficient and thorough understanding of product marketing engineering tools and techniques

  • Deployed IT solutions in Public Cloud
