We are currently searching for someone to fill a short temporary position from the beginning of May through the end of August.

Summary

Compiles payroll data to maintain payroll records by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Input data from time sheets into accounting system.

  • Verify and upload electronic time into system.

  • Review timecards for accuracy.

  • Reviews wages computed and corrects errors to ensure accuracy of payroll.

  • Assist employees with general payroll and pay check questions.

  • Assist with certified payroll reporting.

  • Mail payroll checks and direct deposit slips.

Education and/or Experience


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

Language Skills


  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write correspondence. 

Mathematical Skills


  • Ability to add, subtract, multiple and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability


  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions

Computer Skills


  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should be able to type and use keyboards accurately and be proficient with 10-key.
