Lead Product Marketing Manager at AT&T

Job Description:
This role in the national marketing team is focused on wireless growth opportunities.   Specifically, using targeted approaches to gain market share with specific audiences and geographies.   The objective is to test, learn and measure opportunities that can be scaled.   Goals include driving efficiencies, delivering highly relevant and targeted value proposition to the audience.  This is a tip-of-the-spear role leading cross-functional teams to deliver fully integrated 360-marketing campaigns and initiatives.   

This role will interact across multiple teams to set strategy and plans in motion through a compelling marketing brief.   The brief is informed by target audiences, product segments, competitive intelligence, network, customer research and other opportunities.   Examples of target audiences include military, first responders and veterans.   

Key job functions include:

  • Create compelling, clear marketing brief to set clear strategy and initiate cross-functional teams  
  • Data-driven strategies to inform creative development
  • Partner with Go-To-Market project team to see idea/brief through execution
  • Develop messaging and positioning, key art and research as needed for campaign development
  • Drive messaging and consistency across marketing tactics including direct marketing, TV advertising, merchandising, retail signage, performance media and more
  • Partner with pricing, promotion and media teams to set campaign success metrics   
  • Lead alignment and project status meetings with teams to deliver on campaign elements
  • Review campaign creative and messaging and disclaimers
  • Leadership presentations and results readouts for campaign
  • Integrated campaigns to ensure customer-facing and rep experience are aligned working along with sales operations and field teams
  • Collaborate with legal, finance, network, devices, sponsorships and brand as well as other teams

Job-Specific Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years marketing experience

  • Relationship management
  • Bachelor's degree in general business, marketing or advertising; MBA
