  • Job Description

    HPA is looking for a Principal Analog Design Engineer to develop high precision mixed-signal products for IoT, industrial, and medical applications. Successful candidates should have strong knowledge in high-resolution data converters (ADC and DAC) and low-drift voltage references. Successful candidates should also be highly skilled in precision analog measurements. System level knowledge and product experience in the targeted markets is highly desirable.



    • Work as a key member of analog design team for the HPA (High Performance Analog) product line.

    • Collaborate with business managers and product definers on product roadmaps

    • Upgrade and strengthen our existing product portfolio to capture additional sockets

    • Develop analog/mixed-signal products to position HPA for growth in new markets such as IoT, industrial, and medical. 

    • Drive architecture and feasibility studies to enable superior solutions in new markets

    • Develop architectures and circuit techniques to implement such solutions

    • Evaluate and debug silicon in the laboratory. Support bench and ATE board designs.

    • Guide and mentor junior team members, particularly in the areas of low-power, low-noise and low-drift designs


    Job Qualifications:



    • BSEE or MSEE in EE + 10 years semiconductor industry design experience

    • Strong knowledge in device physics and ability to apply that to optimize noise, power, area, and performance of analog/mixed-signal circuits.

    • Extensive experience in low-noise, low-offset, high dynamic range designs.

    • Extensive experience in ADC and DAC designs

    • Experience in high-voltage designs highly desirable

    • Experience in high precision voltage references a plus

    • Experience in leading complex IC development a plus

    • System knowledge in IoT, industrial, and medical products would be a plus

    • Highly proficient in state-of-the-art design tools and simulators

    • Highly knowledgeable in ESD, Latch-up, and general IC reliability issues
