THE BRIEF
The company is growing their Austin team with top construction professionals across all levels of experience and has retained our firm to assist the search of a highly motivated Project Engineer to deliver a top, high-value, key School project valued over $40M+, as well as many more high-end education projects in the future. The role will be pivotal to uphold the company’s high standards for excellence. 
ROLE
As Project Engineer, you will have comprehensive experience with full life-cycle Hospitality, Commercial, Healthcare and Residential construction projects. You will provide support to the Senior Project Manager, to ensure high quality work by subcontractors, and act as a main point of contact to the owner-client, consultants and General Contractor.
REQUIREMENTS


  • 2/3+ years experience in the Construction industry, with a General Contractor in the United States who self-performs work. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction management or Engineering field is required. 

  • Previously been responsible as Project Engineer on $10M+ construction projects from concept to completion, ideally in Austin. 

  • Provided complex problem-solving skills to resolve design, construction, budgetary, and schedule related issues. 

  • Experience gained maintaining logs for RFI's, submittals, submission requests, contracts, change proposals, and change orders. 

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with and learn from all professionals involved in the construction project life-cycle.
