Award-winning, technology magazine IEEE Spectrum (
is offering a wonderful opportunity for a freelance photo research
temp. The ideal candidate is highly creative and possesses a strong
visual sense as well as communication and organizational skills.  A
keen interest in photography, magazines and technology is a must. The
ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines is essential.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to) obtaining and/or
creating imagery for blogs, photo research (monthly print and online
editions), collating and keyword-tagging images for digital assets
management system, and assisting the staff with color correction and
retouching. The majority of the work will be photo-based. This
temporary in-house position requires a commitment of 24 hours per week
(3 days a week, flexible schedule), over a period of 12 weeks starting
Monday, May 27, 2019 through August 16, 2019. The candidate will
report to the Photography Director. 

Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop required. Candidates must have a degree in photography, or be a
current photography student in an accredited college program.
