  • Ensure the cost, quality and timely supply of all Yanfeng Automotive Interiors operations with the required goods, materials, equipment’s and services under compliance with the respective business plans, budgets and goals

  • Development, direction and execution of purchasing strategies for plastic resin commodity

  • Responsible for negotiating and managing the pricing for the resin suppliers

  • Primary interface between supply base and Yanfeng Automotive Interiors for all commercial related activities

  • Work cross functionally to determine and enforce the selection of strategic resin usage in order maximize the efficiency of the production facilities. Expert in technical specifications and related applications

  • Identification and analysis of potential new suppliers that could provide increased value to the Yanfeng Automotive Interiors network

  • Identify and lead cost savings opportunities for the network.

  • Coordination of commodity specific cost savings and economic variances with senior management for forecast planning

  • Control and improve roadmaps in order to meet or exceed planned goals for cost savings, continuous improvement, economics, supplier quality performance, supplier rationalization, sub commodity LCC percentage content, payment terms, supplier T&Cs, and other strategic objectives

  • Support the greater organization with forecasted pricing and economic trends

  • Significant interaction with the supply chain function to manage potential supply interruptions

  • Support compliance with BOS, PLUS, POS and SOX procedures

  • Interface with the Advanced Engineering functions to introduce suppliers and facilitate innovation ideas from the supply base


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration

  • Five (5 )years within automotive or commodity related
    industry

  • Technical expertise in automotive plastics or
    resin applications

  • Three (3) years of experience within a strategic
    purchasing role is preferred
