Overview:

On the Tessco Sales Team, our primary and most critical focus is to stand for our Customers' success by Understanding the customers goals, Architecting product + Value Chain Solutions to deploy wireless based systems delivered with speed, reliability and total commitment.

As our Business Development Executive-Team Lead, you will be an integral part of our dynamic company whose environment is the rapidly growing world of wireless technology. The BDE-Team Lead will be responsible for pursuing and acquiring business in our Direct Marketing Reseller segment. You will work collaboratively with a team of Account Managers and across support organizations to strategically provide our DMR customers with the critical products, services and solutions they need to sell into their customer account base.

The ideal candidate will work remotely from their home if they are not located near a Tessco office. The most ideal locations are Phoenix, AZ or Chicago, IL.



Responsibilities:



  • Drive new strategic business opportunities & initiatives within targeted accounts

  • Meet, build and maintain relationships with various levels of stakeholders existing accounts to position our capabilities

  • Architect and set up complex projects, marketing plays & sales campaigns involving our technology pillars.

  • Analyze customer business goals, objectives, needs, and existing infrastructure and apply principles, concepts and techniques of skills in developing solutions and strategies

  • Ensure availability of suitable collaterals for the offerings





Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or relevant experience (highly desired)

  • 7+ years consultative sales experience

  • Experience in B2B new business generation

  • Experience architecting complex solutions and then selling into large matrixed corporations

  • Strong experience building meaningful relationship and ability utilize those relationships to grow revenue streams within the account base

  • Must have solid knowledge of the large Direct Marketing Reseller accounts and desire to relentlessly prospect within those accounts
