The LMS Content Management Professional is responsible for supporting efforts around course creation and online course delivery. The team member will assist the LMS Administrator/e-Learning Developer in the building of online courses in the LMS. The LMS Content Management Professional will be responsible for ensuring e-learning technologies work together in a master course shell, pilot testing course materials in the LMS from a student perspective, completing quality assurance testing of online course, and acting as a liaison for internal and external stakeholders involved with online courses.
Coordinate configuration, with guidance from the LMS Administrator/e-Learning developer, for all areas within the LMS including appearance.
Create course curriculum content master shells.
Build eLearning module components in the platform for deployment.
Ensure course content is properly configured for delivery.
Manage the testing of configured modules prior to course.
Assist LMS Administrator with online course updates and maintenance of materials in the LMS, including maintaining the technological quality of online virtual sessions.
Provide usability, accessibility, and quality assurance testing to review the functionality of online course components.
Document internal production processes and procedures.
Manage course releases and training communications.
Maintain a course and curriculum naming convention, versioning and archiving system.
Quickly troubleshoot and resolve technical problems that interrupt learner use and tracking
Run system reports and develop custom reports or dashboards to meet stakeholder needs
Develops, coordinates and conducts training and offers support to all level of LMS administrative users.
Miscellaneous duties as assigned
Master's Degree in Instructional Design, Education, Instructional Systems Design, Adult Education or related field.
2-5 years with LMS content management and education experience.
2-5 years e-learning design and development experience.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite 2013: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
Significant experience using learning management systems.
