The Strategy Analyst will work with the Office of Strategy leadership team and be responsible for structuring and executing analysis, and reporting back key insights and recommendations to support Vertex corporate initiatives.

Actively research new trends and dynamics.
Collect and analyze information and data to gain a deeper understanding of processes and identify strategic improvement opportunities and makes recommendations for new process designs and/or modifications.
Complete projects within the constraints of scope, quality, time, and cost, to produce specified deliverables and meet expectations.
Develop validation and testing protocols to ensure accuracy and quality of final deliverables.
Analyze and pursue cost saving and new revenue opportunities.
Identify and analyze acquisition targets and strategic partnerships.
Support leadership by ensuring all strategic team members, leadership and other stakeholders are kept informed of responsibilities and next steps.
Support strategic alignment across programs to ensure consistency for corporate and strategic planning processes.
Act as a project manager for key initiatives.
Stay current with technological and market developments that could benefit Vertex.
Lead or participate in other projects or duties.

EDUCATION, TRAINING and experience:
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Management, Finance, or relevant discipline.
3-4 years' experience working in management consulting or corporate strategy.
Venture capital, private equity experience a plus.
