US-IL-Northfield Job Description: Medline Industries in Northfield, IL has an opening for an experienced SAP SD/OTC Business/Configuration Analyst. This individual will work with the business, functional, and technical teams to define, document, design, implement, and support solutions to meet business objectives and ensure that the overall composition of the solution meets the business goals. The incumbent would be expected to play a role in influencing business leadership and management decisions and drive ownership and acceptance of changes to the business.
Lead initiatives and support the SAP SD/OTC team responsible for development and maintenance of Order to Cash and related functions.
Work closely with the business community to elicit and define requirements, goals and objectives, critical success factors and risk factors with the goal of delivering the correct solution.
Organize and facilitate effective requirements elicitation meetings and manage conflict with stakeholders or project team members with limited supervision.
Collaborate with various technical and functional teams to evaluate and propose design alternatives, optimize design solution while minimizing impact to system stability and performance.
Proactively present areas of expertise to broader groups, including management in the user community, with little or no direct guidance from team manager.
Communicate system issues and impacts to business stakeholders in clear non-technical terms.
Have proven ability to research, assess and implement SAP solutions in support of new business requirements
Document detailed requirements documents, solution design documents and test plans using standard templates as part of Medline's SDLC.
Assist in the QA process and approval for production system signoff.
Assist the team manager in determining scope and impact of enhancement requests, estimating effort, developing detailed project plans, manage cutover tasks and communicating status as required.
Provide off-hours support as needed including, but not limited to, participating in the on-call rotation.
