  • Overview

    Our CNO efforts are mission oriented and exclusively focused on delivering solutions against hard and enduring targets within difficult and challenging environments. Our vulnerability research and development teams consistently deliver across a multitude of devices and platforms. Candidates must be experienced software developers with a deep esoteric understanding of cradle-to-grave exploitation and attack mission scenarios comfortable supporting quick reaction capability development events.


    • Development of low level programming language libraries for a variety of platforms

    • Experience reversing and debugging applications and libraries

    • Writing custom scripts to support custom plugins within existing debugging applications


    • Bachelors degree with ten (10) plus years of relevant experience as a vulnerability researcher, CNO developer, or reverse engineer

    • Experience serving as a technical leader of a small team or other relevant program manager responsibilities

    • Demonstrated expertise winning and growing work related to vulnerability research, reverse engineering, and tool development programs

    • Ability to write C/C++ and audit the code of peers for potential bugs and other operational security concerns about deployed code

    • Strong experience with kernel level programming and debugging

    • Experience writing and debugging network based applications

    • Foster best practices in terms of documentation for widespread consumption with external parties

    • Hands on technical experience in x86/x64, ARM, MIPS, and Mobile platforms

    • Ability to present custom briefings to customers and other public speaking venues

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills

    • Strong knowledge and network within the Maryland and Virginia customer sets

    • Minimum Top Secret Clearance

    Key Skills:

    • Vulnerability research and development

    • Reverse engineering and vulnerability research

    • Preferred experience in more than one of the following architectures (x86/x64, ARM, MIPS)

    • Experience with kernel-level programming and debugging

    • Network socket programming experience

    • Experience writing/debugging multi-process/multi-threaded applications

    • Experience integrating encryption into applications

    Preferred Skills:

    • Strong body of work supporting development in one or more mobile, embedded, linux and windows devices

    • Past experience serving in reverse engineering and vulnerability research type applications

    • Deep kernel level experience with full-stack CNO development

    • Strong verbal and written skills
