Serves as administrative assistant and manages office operations for a vice president.
Maintains vice president's calendar and coordinates travel arrangements; screens phone calls and visitors; arranges meetings; and interacts with senior administrators and external constituents as needed or requested.
Manages administrative departmental functions; provides work leadership to department support staff.
Researches, compiles, and analyzes data, and prepares reports, correspondence, and other materials for the vice president.
Assists vice president with development and monitoring of the annual budget; oversees reconciliation of departmental accounts and generation of monthly financial and budget reports.
Oversees capital equipment purchases, and monitors department contracts and maintenance agreements.
Coordinates human resource functions for the division as assigned.
Maintains and updates university and division policies, procedures, and manuals.
Coordinates updates to the division's website.
Assists the vice president with special projects.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
High School diploma or GED and (7) years secretarial and/or bookkeeping experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience; bachelor's degree preferred
