The Audiovisual Operations Center is a hybrid Network Operations and Video Network Operations center focused on monitoring and managing collaboration in and between offices globally. The qualified Audiovisual Engineer will leverage unique technical knowledge to support this accelerated environment, and to advance macro elements of our company's technology. Responsibilities of the position include client communication; scheduling and launch of video meetings; documentation of operational tasks; knowledge transfer between shifts; real-time observation of audiovisual communications and equipment; problem discovery, troubleshooting, and escalation; and resolution tracking and reporting. Additional responsibilities include tracking advancements in technology, vetting new product(s), collaborating with manufacturers and contractors, pursuing manufacturer and industry certifications, installing audiovisual & Network systems, and programming and commissioning installed systems.
Candidate must have experience configuring, installing, troubleshooting and analyzing virtual and physical servers, their operating systems and their dedicated software, and possess a strong customer relations ethos. A Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field is preferred. Other preferred skills include experience with enterprise-scale network architecture, SIP and H323 protocols with respect to VoIP and Video Conferencing, audiovisual presentation and conferencing systems. Beneficial certifications include Biamp® Tesira™, Crestron DM and Programming, and Polycom Real Presence core infrastructure platforms. Candidate must be available to travel world-wide and work flex-hours as necessary to accommodate project schedules and deadlines.
