Using independent judgment, effectively manage all aspects of our Quality Control resources, policies, functions and records as defined and required by our business and Customers. Incorporate Lean and Six Sigma methodology Coordinate QC activities in the support and monitoring of all Manufacturing, Supplier, Customer and contractual requirements. Integrate QC processes and functions with all other departments as required to continually meet customer requirements and expectations, Oversee ISO 9001 Quality System. Future potential of multiple plant responsibility. Affiliation with Submarine Defense Industry helpful.
Effectively develop, manage and deploy QC personnel, equipment, processes and record keeping in the supply of product, services and records of the highest caliber. Experienced implementation of Potential Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA).
Establish and maintain constructive relationships with Government Agencies, QAR’s, Customer and Supplier quality organizations. Experienced with working with Government Mil. Specs. Knowledgeable with Sub-safe components and requirements for handling such components. Communicate effectively with other departments on a timely basis regarding the complete and appropriate integration of Quality functions within our business . Have been trained in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Certification. Overall responsibility for the effectiveness of our ISO 9001 Quality System. Specifically responsible for those operating procedures assigned within the quality organization.
Work cooperatively with other departments to facilitate the highest quality outcomes in the achievement of business objectives.
Responsible for the training and awareness of all employees to quality requirements, processes, methods, record keeping and goals within our organization.
Achieve DSQR Quality Certification from B.A.E. Systems (UK).
