Job Summary Statement:
Under the general supervision of the Assistant Athletic Director of Sales & Service, the Director of Ticket Sales will utilize best practices to target prospects for purchasing tickets to UCLA Athletic events, with an emphasis on Football and Men's Basketball games. Incumbent will manage an Inside Sales Team comprised of eight sales representatives. Incumbent will heavily assist the Assistant Athletic Director of Sales & Service in the recruitment, hiring and training of the Inside Sales Representative team.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION
2-4 years of experience selling tickets for a professional and/or college sports program.
Proven track record in sales and building quality relationships, friendly and professional telephone manner and cold calling.
Ability to meet sales goals and deadlines.
Excellent written, verbal, listening and presentation skills.
Ability to lead, manage, train and motivate full-time sales staff. 1-2 years of experience in supervising personnel including delegating responsibilities.
Ability to establish or analyze and improve current cooperative working relationships with donors, ticket holders, University faculty, staff and students and members for the general public and corporate contacts.
Demonstrated creative abilities in generating innovative ideas and exploring alternative approaches and solutions to problems.
Working knowledge and experience of men's and women's athletic events and procedures.
Ability to prioritize and complete assignments in a manner accurately reflecting the relative importance of job responsibilities without constant supervision. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated organizational skills.
Ability to work under time constraints and with conflicting deadlines, frequent interruptions and distractions.
Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule, with the ability to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends.
Skill in interacting effectively with coaches, student-athletes, parents, administrators, staff, vendors and the general public. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook and Adobe programs.
Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to comply with University, Pacific-12 Conference and NCAA rules and regulations.
Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree preferred.
