Under the direction Of the Director Of Anatomic Pathology and AP Supervisor develops, implements and performs technical procedures within the Cytopathology Laboratory of Anatomic Pathology. Additional duties include technical training; CAP and TJC readiness; clerical; telephone; and communication with laboratory customers, Pathologists and others.
* Cytotechnologist license from the CDPH.
* Certification as Cytotechnologist from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists Registry; or equivalent.
* Previous relevant experience.
* Three (3) years Cytotechnologist experience.
* Lab processing of GYN & various Non-GYN specimens.
* Bachelor's Degree.
* Onsite sample adequacy and assist in Fine Needle Aspiration procedures.
* Sure Path certification.
* Thin Prep certification.
Must be able to work all shifts, week-ends, overtime, and at various locations as necessary in accordance with operational needs
