Position Title: Business Data Analyst - SQL
Duration: 1 year
Work Location: Wilmington, DE

Degree/Certifications Required: BA is an asset
Years of experience: 2-4 years
Reason for request/why opened: new need, project driven
% Interaction with Stakeholders: limited
Team Size: 5-6 ppl including contractors and manager
Personality Style/Team Culture: New team, building out, open and supportive, sharing ideas and best practices

Best Vs Average Candidate:
Strong data background from a banking/FI/credit card space with experience in lineage documentation and meta data.
How will performance be measured: based on work produced and feedback


* Role will be working on building out 1 of 4 new data bases for different Credit Card Portfolios * these data warehouses are in relation to data governance/regulatory data

* Work may include building Flow Charts, working on lineage documentation, source systems, etc.


1.) 2-4 years as a Data Analyst with strong SQL skills (queries, SQL pulls, etc.)
2.) Strong Data Manipulation, Data Mining, Data Warehouse, large Data/Meta Data sets experience preferably from a bank/FI/credit card space *2+ years
3.) Experience with Lineage documentation and Source Systems *2 +years
4.) highly analytical


1.) Previous Credit Card/Banking experience
2.) Visio experience
3.) previous data governance experience
4.) Technical background.
