Program: Kent ACT 1 Team (1695 S. State St., Ste. A, Dover, DE 19901)
Reports to: Team Lead
The ACT team provides non-traditional community based mental health treatment to promote the recovery and community integration of 100 adults with serious mental illnesses and co-occurring substance use disorders living in the community to reduce use of ERs and inpatient hospital stays.

*Conduct screening and assessments
*Assist in the development of recovery plans and reviews in collaboration with the consumer
*Document treatment contacts using collaborative documentation.
*Demonstrate the ability to provide treatment that is recovery-oriented
*Provide empirically supported individual and/or group psychotherapy utilizing approaches such as CBT, DBT, Cognitive Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Seeking Safety
*Provide education to team members regarding assessment and interventions
*Provide culturally competent services that are individualized to client needs and reflect the integration of their race, color, religious creed, disability, handicap, ancestry, sexual orientation, gender, gender expression, national origin, age and sex
*Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA
*Perform other duties as required by Team Leader/Unit Director

*Master s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field
*Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
*Valid driver s license and car insurance

Working Conditions:
Unusual Environmental Conditions-Inside and outside work area. Environment may be noisy at times. Necessity to practice universal precautions at all times due to possible exposure to infectious disease.
