Job Description:

Provides support of the audio/video systems and media control systems. Responsible to oversee the maintenance and operation of audiovisual equipment used on the property. Performs support on audio/visual systems including: low voltage wiring, trim-out, equipment rack setup, plasma/LCD, projectors and projection systems, audio hardware and speakers, control systems.

Highly organized to perform the following:
* Effective verbal, written, and people skills
* Manage scheduling activities
* Superior customer service skills and orientation
Responsibilities & continuous improvement of the following:
* Perform routine and proactive testing to ensure functionality of equipment prior to use
* Professional audio and video cable wiring, routing, and signal protocols
* Equipment lifecycle replacement planning and management
* Maintain conference room standards for signage, equipment and seating
* Maintain min/max inventories for spare equipment and replacement parts
* Install, troubleshoot, and maintain audio/video devices and associated wiring
* Basic component level electronic repairs
Provide support for the following:
* Coordinating A/V related work with UAW Skilled Trades
* Daily Fast Response Reporting
* Provide support of GM/UAW Safety Audit Process as Champion for one safety module
* GMS Basketweave and BPD initiatives
Understanding of Audio/Visual Equipment and Systems desired:
* Cisco Polycoms
* Crestron
* Touch Panels
* Multi Media Projectors (Epson, 3M)
* ClearOne
* Click Share

Additional Duties:
* Coordinate Employee PTO/Vacation Scheduling and Coverage
* Ensure 100% Employee Safety Training Compliance
* Support cost saving initiatives
* Support KPI Performance Metrics
* Provide PTO coverage support for similar responsibilities
* Physical requirements may include: ascending or descending ladders, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pulling, lifting, grasping
* Additional Duties as assigned.
Education and Training
* High School Diploma or GED
* 4+ years experience with Audio / Video components
* 1+ years technical training
* Ability to maintain professionalism
* Ability to plan and manage work under time constraints
* Ability to multitask and work without direct supervision
* Proficient in MS Office, and possess strong written, verbal and people skills
* Strong organizational skills and collaborative style
