The Surgery Family Center Representative will be responsible for performing general clerical and reception duties according to the needs of the patient, unit, or department, including entering information into computerized patient care system. Maintains direct contact with patients of all ages except neonates, families, and visitors. The duties of this position require the exercise of courtesy and patience in speaking with patients, families, and others to maintain sound public relations. Position Requirements
(2) two years + experience in an occupation requiring public relations and customer service skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently. Demonstrated Service excellence skills. Good communications skills. Ability to type. Knowledge of PC Windows environment. Basic knowledge of medical terminology. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
