Duties & Responsibilities

* Collaborate with Discipline Directors, Project Managers and Construction Managers to develop and integrate processes and procedures (Project Execution Systems)

* Align the capabilities of the Engineering Design Organization to meet current and near-term market needs.

* Integrate Processes & Procedures (P&P's) across functional business units, i.e., Design Operations and Construction Operations, to support IPD (Integrated Project Delivery)

* Implementation of Quality Management and Continuous Improvement Programs across engineering and project management disciplines.

* Support development and effective use of Project Controls including budget and cost analysis, project scheduling, use of the Fee Development Guide (FOG), and Earned Value Analysis

* Assist Vice P.resident of Design Operations in annual Forecast projections, financial performance assessment, and ongoing staffing and utilization forecasts

* Monitor the execution performance of all projects, including startup and closeout.

* Report to Vice President of Design Operations with respect to project health metrics and recovery plans.

* Actively participate in project recovery initiatives where management support is required to enforce client relationships and improve performance.

* Coordinate with Information Systems (IS) to refine Oracle interfaces for Project Execution Systems to support efficiency and PWP alignment with Oracle.

* Ensure effective staff training initiatives are provided across engineering and project management disciplines (i.e., PES, ViFlow, Prolog, SharePoint, BIM, etc.).

* Responsible for integration of Group performance initiatives into Project Execution Systems including Group Engineering Efficiency, Commercial Awareness, etc.

* Executes the roles and responsibilities associated with Group requirements for Regional Engineering Efficiency Manager.

* Other duties as directed.

Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering is required

* Professional Engineering (PE) License Required

* 10+ plus years of progressive leadership experience in Structural Engineering management positions.

* Demonstrated supervisory and management experience.

* Strong technical skills and experience producing reports for clients.

* Excellent communication skills.

* Occasional travel required.
