Job Description:

The Custom Home Installer is responsible for assisting the Custom Installation Lead Installer in the installation and calibration of Audio/Visual and networking equipment in homes and businesses. The Custom Home Installer will also assist in daily paperwork and weekly recaps. This role is responsible for all aspects involved with customer deliveries, set-ups, tutoring sessions and or trouble-shoots as directed by the company.

Responsibilities include:


  • Performs custom installation jobs requiring carefully and precisely running wires through walls in homes or businesses to bridge audio, video, and networking components together

  • Provides Clients with a premium in-home experience during delivery, including set up, tutorial on products, troubleshooting, and installation of premium Audio/Video Equipment

  • Effectively calibrates High End Premium Audio/Video Equipment that can be located in multiple zones in a home or business

  • Maintains equipment and van

  • Assists MDC Custom Installation Lead in daily paperwork and weekly recaps

  • Assists in building audio video furniture for customer deliveries

  • Consults with MDC System Designers on installation jobs

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6 months of experience with home audio video or car audio video installation work

  • 1 year of customer service or in-home service experience

  • 1 year of electronics industry expereince

  • 21+ Years of Age

  • Clean Driving Record

  • State/local licensing as required

  • Able to carry/lift/push/pull weight up to 75 lbs. or 150 lbs. as part of team, with or without accommodation
