The Technology Analyst assists with design, implementation, support, and maintenance of automation, computing, and database systems essential to carrying out the responsibilities and daily activities of Division or Board staff.The Technology Analyst/System Administrator has experience in, and performs technical analyses of, Windows systems. The analyst is responsible for the design, implementation, support, and maintenance of automation, computing, and Microsoft Windows systems and mobile devices essential to carrying out the responsibilities and daily activities of Division and Board staff. The analyst demonstrates initiative and resourcefulness in solving problems and in developing new procedures.
The Technology Analyst in the Automation Research and Computing (ARC) section must have the following qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in a technical or analytical discipline.
2. Experience using Microsoft Windows operating systems.
3. Interest in and knowledge about mobile devices and client technologies.
4. Experience in at least two of the following:
a) Microsoft Windows Server and service administration, such as Hyper-V, App-V, or Active Directory.
b) Programming in high-level languages, such as PowerShell or Visual C.
c) Office software applications such as Outlook or the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
d) Microsoft Windows client environments, including the registry, group policy objects, and security controls.
