Description

Provides first-level supervision and
coordination of employees in an operation.



Responsibilities


  • Reviews production orders and implements production
    schedules.  

  • Ensures that ISO 9001 quality system requirements are met in the
    area.   

  • Organizes and assigns work.  Supervises and assists employees in daily
    work performance.

  • Analyzes and diagnoses machine and tooling problems and takes corrective
    measures to minimize downtime and schedule
    interruption.    

  • Works with P&IC to maintain inventory accuracy in their
    area.    

  • Supports Lean activities.    

  • Assures a clean and safe working environment for all employees, maintaining 5S
    standards and emphasizing prevention of potential hazardous conditions. 
    Addresses unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.

  • Conducts safety training for employees.  Reports accidents in a timely
    manner and participates in accident investigations as required.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


  • Associate's degree preferred

  • 3-5 years’ supervisory experience in manufacturing environment

  • Skill in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, JDE
