The ACOO Home Care Services will be a highly motivated leader excited to lead Michigan Medicine Home Care Services on a patient-centered continuous improvement journey.

In partnership with the Home Care Executive Medical Director and directors for MedEquip, HomeMed, Wheelchair Seating and Michigan Visiting Nurses (MVN)/Michigan Visiting Care (MVC) plan, manage and evaluate administrative, financial and operational activities for Home Care Services.
Provide leadership for strategic, financial and operational priorities across Home Care Services.
Create alignment with Michigan Medicine strategies and priorities to facilitate administrative and operational alignment at a local level.
Represent Home Care Services with Michigan Medicine and outside agencies, with responsibility for collaborative activities.
Manage the allocation of resources, develop and maintain controls for equipment, supplies and services.
Direct the preparation of administrative, benchmarking and financial reports.
Assure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements, affirmative action and safety programs.
Employ the concepts of Lean process improvement, benchmarking and cost containment across all management and leadership actions.
Oversee the ongoing assessment of market potential for Home Care Services and implement strategies that increase business and/or enhance the continuum and/or transition of care.
Facilitate the integration or coordination of Home Care Services with other Michigan Medicine departments and programs.
Implement administrative procedures to enhance patient, provider and staff satisfaction, patient flow, patient access, safety and revenue capture.
Considerable administrative experience in a health-care environment is essential. Strong experience in managing clinical operations. Proven success in administrative/management roles in complex organizations. Demonstrated experience dealing with a wide variety of stakeholders at all levels in and across various levels of a health care organization. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proven ability to function as a member of a team, build effective working relationships and demonstrate initiative.
Master’s Degree in Business or Health Sciences is highly preferred. Degreed in clinical or allied health field. In-depth knowledge of Michigan Medicine policies and procedures. Knowledge of quality management principles and practices. Lean Coach; experience incorporating Lean Principles into daily work.
