The Restorative Therapies Group develops life-restoring therapies and healthcare solutions that span the care continuum; integrating technologies and applying clinical and economic evidence to increase patient access, improve efficiency of procedures and deliver successful patient outcomes.
A Day in the Life
As Senior Program Manager, you will lead the early exploration and strategy development of novel techniques and workflows to improve pain therapies by working with industry thought leaders, research organizations, development teams, and other cross functional teams to create new stimulation and early intervention procedures and procedural elements (tools, programming, patient management) that create positive clinical and economic outcomes, improve procedural and practice efficiency and reduce patient burden.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
•Engage pain therapy thought leaders and physicians to capture critical procedural needs.
•Identify and evaluate novel techniques and workflows for improved pain relief in existing and new indications.
•Drive collaboration with third-parties for idea generation and feasibility research, including joint venture research programs.
•Create and lead physician and thought leader advisory boards.
•Synthesize actionable insights from clinical research, regulatory frameworks, functional characteristics of existing and potential hardware platforms.
•Build a pipeline of short and long-term projects that support the commercialization of novel improvements to pain management.
•Prepare project plans, budgets, schedules. Provide technical project leadership and use problem solving skills to guide teams and make decisions.
•Document final procedure and obtain approvals from regulatory, clinical, and legal partners. Create standardized procedure documentation standards.
•Support commercialization of new procedures. Drive sales training and physician training.
•Collaborate with marketing, RTD, R&D, clinical, regulatory, legal and training teams.
•Determine project and annual budgets necessary to meet goals; track and maintain the budget.
•Develop intellectual property to protect novel ideas.
•Ensure the quality policy/system is planned, understood, implemented and maintained by ensuring compliance within the department.
Must Have Minimum Qualifications (to be considered):
•7+ years of experience with Bachelors Degree or
•5+ years of experience with Masters Degree or
•4+ years engineering or clinical experience AND 4+ years of experience supporting physicians and other health care professionals in the operating room and post-op patient care.
•Demonstrated experience collaborating with physicians
Nice to Have
•Experience with stimulation and other interventional pain procedures
•Demonstrated track record of innovation in stimulation and other interventional pain procedures as evidenced by patents or other formal recognition.
