John Zink Company is looking for a Project Coordinator to join the Thermal Oxidizers team! This individual will be assigned to multiple Project Managers and provide coordination assistance on projects from the engineering & design
phase through fabrication. A primary role of this position is to coordinate, receive and issue project documents to internal and external customers.

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:


  • Assisting assigned Project Managers with projects from initiation to closure

  • Coordinating with many internal departments

  • Assisting in tracking and overseeing the completion of the project in the fabrication period

  • Following-up with and expediting various project related issues such as status of purchased items, shipping issues and

  • Logistics, and sub-contract status

What You Will Need:


  • 2+ years in an administrative support role within a manufacturing environment/company

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite

  • Must maintain a high level of professionalism and ability to multi-task from multiple sources

  • 1+ years experience with an MRP system

  • 1+ years of document control experience

  • High School Diploma / GED

  • Must be able to work 9:00am-5:30pm with overtime as needed

What Will Put You Ahead?


  • Oil and Gas industry experience

  • Experience with Visibility software, Impromptu software, and AS 400 programs

  • 3+ years in administrative support for Project Managers

  • Experience with monitoring &/or implementing project controls

  • Microsoft Projects experience

  • Mechanical aptitude/ability

  • Associates degree or higher in a mechanical or technical field such as mechanical or industrial design, technology, drafting, etc.
