Responsible for managing the successful implementation of Science Global Learning and Engagement initiatives for students in the college. Provides support for faculty in the operational design and implementation of faculty directed programs from proposal through delivery, from on-site support to reconciliation and re-entry activities, and assessment of programs. Performs other duties as assigned.

Support the college, faculty, and academic units in the operational requirements of designing and implementing Global Learning and Engagement opportunities for students, coordinating administrative needs from the program conceptualization through delivery, evaluation and continued operation. Collaborate and work in concert with the Clemson University Office of Global Engagement (OGE). Provide support for college faculty global committee and coordinate logistics of visiting scholar and strategic partnership relationship activities and programs for the college.

Oversee all operational and logistical aspects of faculty-directed study abroad programs, including proposals and management, evaluation, assessment, and external relations with vendors/partners and universities as required. Included in this is the fiscal management of programs, including development and maintenance of budgets and account review. Help create new programs for Global Science including new curriculum pathways for science departments and help develop signature programs for each department.

15% - Essential - FISCAL MANAGEMENT
Collaborate with OGE's Fiscal Manager to coordinate fiscal time lines and procedures including:
- Assist the Director of Global Engagement Initiatives (DGEI), faculty, and staff with the development of budgets and contract review.
- Communicate student-billing procedures to the DGEI, faculty, and staff to ensure effective communication to students.
- Coordinate with fiscal personnel for post-program financial reconciliation.

15% - Essential - STUDENT PROCESSES
Manages the SCIENCE student services coordinator for implementation of global engagement programs:
- Marketing and promotion of programs, providing content for Science global engagement web pages
- Enrollment management through Terra Dotta
- Financial aid and scholarship services including managing endowed global engagement scholarships
- Course registration and grade recording
- Post program evaluation and re-entry orientation

10% - Essential - ASSESSMENT
Lead the assessment, benchmarking, goal setting, and continuous improvement of the international program in the college:
- Collect and report enrollment trends and global learning occurring through Science global engagement initiatives
- Work with the Science committee on global engagement to develop assessment of global learning outcomes

A bachelor's degree and experience in student services programs.

Supervises Work of Others - Supervises work of others and may offer recommendations for hiring, termination and pay adjustments but does not have responsibility for making these decisions.

Provides Budget Input - Provides input into the budgeting process, and oversees fund allocation.

15% - Overnight travel/weekend work including going to faculty led programs abroad as a staff assistant.

Master's Degree in international education or related field with one (1) year of related experience; or Bachelors Degree in a related field with three (3) years of related experience.
