Customer Service Supervisor
 

What you will do:


 

At Johnson Controls serving our customers is #1.   As the Customer Service Manager you will report directly to the Plant Manager you will be the face of the Tampa plant to our customers. You will be expected to:


  • Represent customer needs and concerns to plant management and provides liaison service between customers and appropriate plant personnel.

  • Communicate efficiently and coordinate on a daily basis with both production control, shipping and transportation departments.

  • Set objectives and supervise the daily operations of Customer Service team based on established policies and procedures.

  • Maintain regular contact with customers and Marketing to assure prompt and efficient identification and resolution of customer problems and/or questions regarding shipping, scheduling, quality, etc.

  • Address customer complaints, order management, data analysis/forecasting, shipping planning, and warranty processing.

  • Represent customer needs and concerns to plant management and provides liaison service between customers and appropriate plant personnel.

  • Provide counsel and recommendations when appropriate to assist the Plant Manger to assure appropriate consideration of customer requirements and prompt resolution of problems.

  • Supervise the training and daily activities of the Customer Service reps, relating to order entry, order processing, billings and credits.

  • Recommend process improvements for high quality, cost effectiveness and excellent customer service.


  • Analyzes customer orders and sales forecasts to prepare plant production and inventory plans.

     


What we look for:


  • University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

  • 3+ years suggested minimum experience in a customer service role

  • Previous experience managing OE customer relationships

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
