Regional Account Executive

Department: Coffee Service Division- National Accounts

Reports to: Varies, CSD and National Accounts Sr. Management


Summary

Identifies and solicits new customers in order to achieve strategic sales goals within Office Coffee Service, Food Service Contract Managed Services, Hospitality/Travel/Military and Convenience Store channels.

Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Functions Only:


• Prospects, cold calls, and makes formal presentations of company pricing, products and promotions to major office, coffee and food service customers to gain or expand new business

• Executes sales strategies in order to meet or exceed company’s sales goals, achieve KPIs as outlined in performance scorecards.

• Will target strategic “licensed to hunt” accounts for new business or to expand existing business

• Responsible for achieving a high level sales target with Regional Chain Business customers

• Coordinates customer setup and transition to account managers.

• Prepares and complies with mandatory reporting systems.

• Participates in trade shows and special events to promote the company's products and services.

• Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition and the market in general.


Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities


Qualifications Description
Education and Experience

High School Diploma OR General Education degree (GED) required

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• At least 4 years of successful CPG sales experience required, preferably in coffee service or foodservice, and specifically with regional or large revenue accounts.

• Valid driver’s license required and acceptable driving record.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to prepare documents and reports with a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision

Travel Time

Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
