May ensure all engineering, customer, security, and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements are met. Provides support to Commodity Managers with responsibility for an increased level of spend commodities; requiring approximately 50% of time focused on these commodities. Prepares Request for Quote (RFQ) packages, develops and analyzes spreadsheets to present to management. Provides input and recommendations on supplier selection and quality compliance. Performs supplier negotiations and recommends competitive total cost solutions. Performs Sourcing system data base maintenance for example discount levels, maximum quantities, reorder point, part price maintenance and supplier Sourcing rules. Provides internal support to the team coordinating with other functions to ensure objectives are met. Executes continuous improvement projects for example cost down, quality improvement, supplier consolidation and standardization.Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience. 2 years. Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma within 3 years.
