Location: Madison, New Jersey
NRT is seeking a Compliance Coordinator to work in our Human Resources Department in Madison, NJ.
-Audits Oracle data entry to ensure 100% accuracy
-Audits payroll processing to ensure accuracy of payments
-Performs audit prior to payroll upload
-Audits all personnel action forms and paperwork (including new hire paperwork, termination paperwork) to ensure forms are completed accurately with appropriate approvals
-Works with HR Coordinator on resolution when discrepancies are found in data entry, payroll or documentation
-Maintains records of audits and resolutions as per company policies
-Ensures that employees complete all mandatory trainings including compliance & ethics, new hire orientation, etc.
-Audits variable pay submission prior to upload to ensure proper payments; works with field HR partner when discrepancies are found
-Runs standard monthly reports for distribution to HR/Local Leadership
-Back-up to HR Coordinator role; must be able to perform all of the functions of the HR Coordinator
-Bachelors' degree in Human Resources or Accounting or related field or significant experience in a similar role
-2 years payroll/HR/legal experience
-Previous experience in a compliance/audit role preferred
-Strong technical skills with proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office applications; oracle HRIS experience preferred
-Strong analytical and problem solving skills and attention to detail
-Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion
-Knowledgeable of employment laws
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
-Strong service orientation
-Strong time management, organizational, and presentation skills
