Inside Sales Representative - Follow-up

Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Representative is responsible for providing day-to-day support to the North American Sales team as well as North American Representatives and Distributors. while maintaining and building good working relationships across multiple functions to attain mutual goals.

About the job:


  • Facilitate follow-up on pre-sale activities (Quotes, Design Registrations, Samples, Lost Business, etc.) and other business opportunities.


  • Develop and maintain relationships with the Manufacturers’ Representatives and Distribution Partners to drive sale growth.


  • Facilitate North America ESBU (Electronics and Silicon Business Unit) new application requests/projects and end user production system issues.


  • These requests and issues encompass all related IT disciplines, including SAP SD, BW and Internal CRM system (LBC).


  • Analyze new application requests to develop the associated work requests that define the business workflow and system change requirements.


  • Monitor and evaluate project progress with stakeholders and IT development team.


  • Identify roadblocks, recommend solutions, summarize and distribute action item with necessary follow ups to ensure project deadline is met.


  • Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) within the QAS environment.


  • Consolidate issue list and work with IT development team to resolve pending issues and ensure the end results address the finalized requirements to the satisfaction of the stakeholders.


  • Travel as needed to customers, Representative, Distributors sites.


  • Develop business process procedure (BPP) for document control and end user training purpose.


  • Validate manual ship and debit claims.


  • Confirm Point of Acquisition, Point of Sale, special price and validate period information.


  • Work with Distributors and Insides Sales to update where applicable.


About you:


  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience.


  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Sales.


  • Facilitation skills, able to build and motivate team, generate creativity and challenge effectively.


  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.


  • Communications/Interpersonal Skills.


  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decision.


  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and shift priorities as necessary.


  • Good communication skills both written and oral.


  • Results oriented.


  • Ability to measure metrics to align with Corporate Strategy.
