Job Description:

Summary of Role
 
The Association of International Certified Professional Accountants is implementing marketing automation through Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). This tool will streamline the deployment of millions of emails across the globe while also personalizing and improving the customer experience. The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Deployment Lead will manage and complete the organization-wide implementation of SFMC. This will involve but is not limited to: overseeing the training of Association staff; working with business owners across the organization to standardize and document processes and procedures that uphold governance and compliance principles; and collaborating with governance and stakeholders to ensure acceptance and adoption of a fully capable tool.
 
 
Outputs & Responsibilities


  • Responsible for the holistic direction, integrity and deployment of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud capability across the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants.


  • Works closely with key stakeholders from business, technology and 3rd party teams to facilitate delivery of SFMC capabilities aligned to business requirements, ensuring needs are met in line with program ambitions and business objectives 

  • Owns the SFMC demand backlog, translating business requirements into prioritized scope with a corresponding architecture and delivery roadmap

  • Oversees holistic program of work, including resources, plans and budget


  • Owns the engagement with relevant functional, regional/ market stakeholders (inc Member Value, Brand & Communications, Student Engagement, Newsletters, technical teams and CPA.com) to ensure buy-in and alignment with wider initiatives

  • Drives codification and sharing of best practice, creating capability materials and designing ways in which we can collaborate and share across regions and markets

  • Manages the transition from legacy tools (i.e. Cheetah Mail to SFMC), leading onboarding efforts of new geographies to SFMC (specifically: Americas, North Asia, APAC and Central & Eastern Europe)

  • Identifies interdependencies with other projects within the Re-Engineering the Experience (REE) portfolio, specifically ‘customer data’, and makes recommendations/takes appropriate actions where necessary to ensure forward alignment

  • Accountable for the development of the implementation framework

  • Preparation of program governance and progress reporting as required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required


  • Thorough working knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including configuration and deployment of modular components such as Journey Builder

  • Detailed understanding of business KPI’s relating to SFMC with experience of establishing dashboards and reporting routines to drive insights/raise visibility of intervention opportunities

  • Strong consultative skills with the ability to work autonomously, collaboratively and proactively with a diverse stakeholder group in multiple Countries


  • A multi-tasker with experience in owning and managing multiple projects, with strong attention to detail

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate insight, knowledge and analysis into delivery plans

  • Commercial and business acumen, particularly in the social, content and CRM/Relationship Marketing space

  • Sound knowledge and understanding of key trends and areas of innovation which influence the way we interact and engage with our external customers, internal stakeholders and audiences (digital marketing, new technology, Marketing Automation, CRM, agile working practices, data and analytical tools)

  • Strong knowledge of governance and controls for global marketing automation programs

  • Management, coaching and mentoring experience

  • Strong management skills and the ability to prioritize work based on the business needs

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility with all stakeholders

Required Experience, Qualifications & Education


  • Educated to degree level or equivalent

  • Minimum of 5 years marketing experience

  • Experienced at working with different stakeholders at all levels

  • Experience managing and controlling a budget

  • B2B and B2C marketing

  • Knowledge and use of Marketing and CRM automation technologies (Salesforce, Oracle, Adobe, Marketo etc.)

  • Experience of working Internationally/Globally

Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Education


  • Project Management qualification (essential)

  • Marketing qualification (desirable)

  • Marketing experience in education, membership or commercial sector (desirable)
