Position Summary

The Assistant Director, Digital Marketing & Recruitment will be responsible for developing digital marketing and recruitment content for NYU Wagner's degree programs. The role will be responsibile for a) writing, creating, and publishing marketing content across multiple digital platforms, including web, email, social media, and multimedia channels; b) managing a content and editorial calendar of marketing and communications efforts; c) developing and maintaining metrics to measure the success of marketing and recruitment efforts; d) ensuring adherence to the school's overall brand and marketing strategies; and e) managing student workers and collaborating with NYU Wagner staff, faculty, and external vendors.

**This is a 24-month fixed-term position with the possibility for ongoing renewal.**


Required Education:
Bachelor's degree

Preferred Education:
Master's degree in Public Affairs, Communications, Marketing, Design, Public Relations, or related field

Required Experience:
3 - 5 years public relations, marketing, communications, journalism, digital media, or equivalent combination. Must include experience in creating and managing content in digital space including website, blogs, social media, multimedia content, and other online platforms.

Preferred Experience:
Related experience at a college, university, or nonprofit organization is preferred.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication, project planning, and editorial judgement. Ability to work collaboratively across organizational lines. Thorough knowledge of digital marketing and experience using multiple forms of new media and technologies. Knowledge of online marketing and recruitment process, including basic knowledge of HTML and web content management systems. Experience in measuring and monitoring digital marketing and how these analytics can be applied to marketing and recruitment strategies. Experience working with and managing external vendors as well as internal stakeholders.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Proficiency in video, audio, digital photograph processes, and editing software. Familiarity with iMovie and/or Final Cut Pro. Proficiency in Google Analytics. Graphic design skills a plus.
