Location: Concord, California
NRT LLC is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to work out of our Concord headquarters. This position is responsible for providing timely and accurate financial analysis to key clients including Presidents, regional management and branch management. This position collaborates with Presidents, senior management, FP&A and Field Finance groups to create reusable, meaningful and concise reporting. The Financial Analyst helps to determine reporting needs across metros and will contribute to report design, execution and rollout. S/he proactively seek ways to automate and streamline processes as needed.
-Assist with performing the day-to-day financial reporting and analysis for assigned business units.
-Assist with researching and resolving inquiries related to assigned business units.
-Provide periodic updates to supervisors relating to financial close, issues and deliverables.
-Track expenses and revenues vs. budget and reforecast and analyze fluctuations.
-Prepare monthly consolidation and executive financial package.
-Prepare quarterly operating reports.
-Analyzing current and past financial data and performance.
-Identifying trends in financial performance and providing recommendations for improvement.
-Coordinating with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts.
-Assist in the budget & reforecast process.
-Maintain budget and reforecast information in the financial system.
-Maintain knowledge and stay abreast of developments in the fields of industrial technology, business, finance, and economic theory.
-Evaluate profit and cost efficiencies in various areas of the organization as needed.
-Develop, maintain and distribute as-hoc reports and financial models as needed.
-Provide assistance on other assignments as assigned.
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
-2+ years of progressive finance experience (financial analysis, and reporting knowledge skills)
-Experience within the real estate industry a plus.
-2+ years of analytical and financial analysis/forecasting experience in a corporate environment preferred.
-Strong communication skills (written & verbal).
-Ability to work independently and well in a team environment.
-Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills.
-Customer Service Oriented.
-Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, adapt quickly and learn new tasks.
-Ability to manage competing priorities.
-Ability to generate creative ideas to improve performance.
-Solid PC skills including an advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
-Knowledge of Hyperion, Oracle and/or Cognos a plus.
-Willingness to overtime, when necessary.
