* Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses ability to access data, interpret age-specific needs and provide care as described in the department s policies and procedures.
* Demonstrates the ability to perform specific competencies as listed on the Competency Validation Checklist. Meets mutually agreed upon performance goals/objectives established annually as listed on the Performance Management Plan. Displays courteous behavior and cooperative relationships with customers and co-workers.
* Utilizes Medical Technology skills and training to perform test of samples of blood, urine and other body fluids to obtain information utilized in diagnosis and evaluation of a patient s medical situations. Performs laboratory tests and procedures, which require the exercise of independent judgment and responsibility with supervision. Provides supervision of the Licensed Medical Technician
Must have a Bachelor s degree or qualified under the CLIA guidelines for a Medical Technologist. Must have and maintain valid State of Tennessee license for Medical Technology. One to three years of experience preferred. Good communication skills and basic computer skills needed
